Side effects of the journey!

Sometimes we are consumed with the results and not enough on the side effects. I would check myself in your mirror every day hoping for more defined muscles and smaller love handles. It would drive me crazy that results weren’t coming fast enough. Then I notice that some of the exercises were becoming easier. My form, technique, and strength were getting better every day I would go train. I started to pay attention to the side effects of my training.
Increased flexibility
Increase mobility
Better sleep
Increase appetite (high metabolism)
Elevated mood
Full of energy
Increased confidence
Better patience
All of these were side effects of my training and lifestyle. I switched my focus to these side effects and my aesthetic goals started to appear. Focus on performance and practice the exercises. Focus on how you feel. Everything else will fall into place.
