Coach David
My name is David Espinoza, and I’m the owner and CEO of Iron Stance Fitness. My fitness journey started when I first picked up my first pair of blue-coated 10-pound dumbbells at 15—doing bicep curls in my bedroom every day and wondering why my arms weren’t getting bigger. I was on and off from training until I got serious at 22. In those 15 years of going through my fitness journey, I’ve been overweight and lost too much weight. I’ve had my experience with body dysmorphia. I created an eating disorder and built an unhealthy relationship with exercise. But my passion for fitness and my thirst for knowledge grew. I managed and conquered some of my issues and continued to push forward.
Patience, willpower, mental strength, consistency, and being humble are some of the things that I’ve learned in my years of training. Because of fitness, I found out who I am.
On December 31st of 2018, I quit my job of 11 years and went all in on myself. I received my NCSF certification the following month and started to be mentored by some of the best personal trainers in Las Vegas. For the next few months, I transformed my two-car garage into a garage gym, and on June 17th, 2019, Iron Stance Fitness was open for business. Since then, I’ve been helping people achieve their fitness goals. From losing body fat to building muscle and even teaching people to move better and not experience pain doing everyday life movements.
My training style is correcting any pain, discomfort, and weaknesses that you might be experiencing. Finding the root cause of your instability, imbalance, and lack of mind-muscle connection is essential before we start the more challenging exercises. It doesn’t make sense to me to have someone barbell back squat knowing they have dealt with lower back issues for years. We build a foundation first before we can build.
I spent many years doing the wrong things in my fitness journey, but I have learned and grown from my experiences. I’m here to help people not waste time doing the wrong things and coach them to reach their fitness goals the best way.

Coach Jevin
My name is Jevin Chang. I am 26 years old and I’ve been a fitness professional for about 8 years. I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a family revolving around fitness. I grew up in the gym, competed in the gym, and am now teaching in a gym. I was introduced to speed, strength, and agility training at a very young age. My father, now a master at his craft, taught me everything I know in this industry. He started and grew his business to what it is today, in multiple locations. I pride myself on exemplifying what his hard work resulted in. Through many years of hard work and training for either sports or just lifestyle, I’ve always kept the same philosophy of striving to be the best at what I do.
Since residing in Las Vegas in 2014, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I learned, practiced, and studied tons of information used from books, instructors, classmates, and friends that taught the gold standard of the study of movement. Knowing how the body reacts, moves, and adapts to change is an incredible science that I love teaching to my clients. I took what I learned, which allowed me to achieve my personal trainer certification from NESTA, and got my first job as a trainer in a commercial gym, then leveling up and moving on to a higher class gym. Finally, in 2020 I made the jump to become independent after years of learning how to build relationships, instruct classes, and perfect program management for my clients. I’ve battled many issues with fitness involving myself dealing with injuries, weight gain, and lack of motivation. Now that I’ve achieved my own goals, I am here to help you with yours.
I’ve had the opportunity and privilege to work with people of all fitness levels. I love working and teaching with kids, teens, adults, and athletes. A good trainer has the ability to go up or down 10 levels for their clients. I work with kids as young as 8 years old, kids with autism, adults who have been through injuries, and adults that are older in age. I worked with all star athletes in highschool, collegiate baseball, soccer, and football athletes, and also NFL players on their offseason. Whether it be to lose weight, gain strength, get faster, or just be overall healthy, I ensure every client of mine progresses in the right direction to success. Consistency and motivation are the two most important aspects of reaching your goals. If you are my client, I will be there for you 100% but I need your 100% in order to make this work. I’ve worked for many fitness clubs, gyms, and facilities, but Iron Stance offers a unique and efficient approach with years of experience behind our backs that help our clients accomplish their goals the right way safely and effectively.
